Cruz Safely
Hey Cruzers
Whether you are a E-scooter aficionado or this is your first timing cruising, we have you covered.
Before you Cruz
Before you Cruz, review our rider safety guide to understand the risks and responsibilities of operating an e-scooter.
Be sure to sign a waiver with one of our partners before you can enjoy your ride. If you have any questions about safety riding, please ask our partners or get in touch.
First Time Cruzing?
Let’s Slow Things Down
If you are new to Cruzing you can set the scooter to drive mode by double-pressing the center button (D mode will appear on the display). This will reduce the acceleration of the scooter, allowing you to start off slowly while you familiarize yourself with the throttle and brakes.
Cruz Safely
Covid 19 Measures
Cruz e-scooters and helmets are disinfected in between each ride so you can Cruz with confidence. Remember to follow all local health authority guidelines for physical distancing.
Follow Local Rules
Each municipality has unique rules for safely and legally operating e-scooters. Review local rules with our provided Rider’s Guide before starting your ride.
We Are Here For You
If you have any questions, or concerns Call 1-833-972-2789 (Toll-free) for assistance (8am-8pm). If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911.
Wear A Helmet
Wearing a helmet is smart, and being smart is cool. We provide sanitized helmets with all our partners so you can always wear one while cruzing.
Cruz Aware!
You don’t need a smartphone to rent our scooters, and you shouldn’t use one while you are cruzing. Enjoy your ride, and always keep both hands on the handlebars.
One Cruzer One Scooter
A Cruz e-scooter is only designed for one rider. Tandem riding affects your balance, braking performance and is dangerous for both parties. If you want to ride together, our partners have plenty of scooters.
Park and Lock Up
If you want to stop while on your Cruz, make sure to park and lock up your e-scooter in a safe spot. Your Cruz shouldn’t block traffic or public pathways. Bike racks are a great option!
16+
Riding an e-scooter can be dangerous. That’s why you must be at least 16+ years old with parental supervision to Cruz.
Don’t Drink and Cruz
Never Cruz if you are intoxicated. It is extremely unsafe for you and others and is a criminal offense in Canada.
